That is why I'm asking if there is an alternative programme to stream from iDreamX that is compatible on Mac instead of VLC, and does iDreamX support me opening a stream in another programme instead of only VLC. I know that its possible to handle ftp, bouquet, stream, record etc., in there own separate way, and I don't mind if I have to. I also need a similar software for windows, and I have tried every software there is, but nothing comes even close to what iDreamX is capable of. This is just a problem with VLC and I've checked online and many people are experiencing it. The only software that does that is iDreamX, but that's great for my mac. On Windows I solved this simply by streaming it in Windows Media Player and everything was fine. The stream does not cut off on VLC when I stream standard definition channels.

I have a couple of questions which would make things easier for me. I recently bought a Mac and installed iDreamX to stream my DM800HD, previously on Windows I used Dreambox Control Centre.
